Respecting the environment is certainly one of the most current subjects of everyday lives. In this regard, the Frati Group places its maximum level of attention to guarantee respect for the environment, both in the development of products and the technologies applied to obtain them. Our plants are, in fact, under constant rigorous control in order to always grant maximum safety as regards the elimination of environmental hazards and risks.

For many years the Group has consistently invested in research in order to obtain the greatest results as regards eco-friendliness. Our products are the best example. All our products are eco-compatible.

They are produced using post-consumer material coming from "Controlled Recycling"; manufactured using "High Technology", but always respecting the "High Quality" required by the market.

 As a testimony to the great effort to safeguard the environment and the commitment on the part of our Group during recent years some of the various certificates obtained are listed below:

CQA Catas

Catas Quality Award-Formaldehyde E1 certifies that all particleboards (both raw and melamine panels) produced by Frati Luigi Spa are according to E1 Class (in compliance with Italian Law DM 10/10/2008) and satisfy all requirements prescribed for by CATAS regulations as regards the low-emission of formaldehyde; based on the continuous monitoring of the productions made by company itself and periodic inspections made by supervisory body.

ISO 14001:2004

This is a non-compulsory management tool, whose subscription is voluntary, which permits an evaluation of the environmental impact of corporate activities and their products. The compatibility between the industrial activity and the safeguarding of the environment constitutes a central theme relating to the sustainable development that works alongside the innovation politics of the economic and productive activity of our industry.

UNI EN ISO 9001:2008

The ISO 9001 certification is a standard to which a company is subjected to in order to improve its competitiveness, permitting the reduction of costs and the optimisation of production processes, with a view to satisfying the requirements of customers.

A.I.A.

Some years ago our company concluded the procedure for obtaining Integrated Environmental Authorization; the provision that authorises the use of a plant or part of it on the condition that it must guarantee that it will conform to all the requisites of the system. It substitutes all other permissions, notices, waivers, opinions or authorisation as regards environmental matters.

The authority competent in determining the conditions needed for the issue of A.I.A. must take into consideration:

• That the Company takes suitable measures in the prevention of pollution and applies the best available technologies for the purpose.
• That the Company adopts necessary measures for the prevention of accidents, minimising refuse or recycling it, utilising energy in an efficient way.
